Week #2 Eureka Moment

Does the phrase " this is a man's world, or use to be" ring a bell. I have just come to the realization that it's no longer a man's world. The women have flipped the script, and this is how it all began. The reason women were being defined by their appearance and men by their position is the fact that men have reigned over women since the beginning of time, holding the superior position and being worthy of it. I am comparing then and now because then " the way it use to be" the men were bread winners and the women held down the fort. (the home) It's a fact that women and men knew their place and role in life and it was accepted by the two of them equally. Men were fine with it as long as women stayed in their place. Then out of the clear blue sky, "no pun intended" women decided that depending on a man wasn't something they wanted to continue to do. Monitoring began to take over and time passed and confirmed that this behavior would no longer continue. I believe that's why men and women are mad with each other and use inappropriate language to express how they really feel about each other. Women resort to verbal abuse because she now realize that she allowed a man to dictate to her what her position should be, she now sees that she didn't always agree with him but because he thought he was physically stronger he thought he was mentally stronger also. She has now discovered that she is mentally stronger than a man. The difference between then and now is the fact without a doubt, she is and knows it, and that's why the cooking and the cleaning is now being shared between the two. The only reminder the men have of the days of old and when they reigned supreme over women is the verbal communication they use to lower a women's standard and encourage her to reciprocate. The ego boundaries tells men to accept the women of today and to let go of the women of yesterday and to find equality today.
